Step 1: Phone Consultation, 10-15 minutes

The first step to getting started with therapy is a free 10-15 minute phone conversation. In this call, we’ll take some time to explain how I work, answer any questions you may have, and get a sense of what you’re seeking from therapy.

Step 2: Intake Appointment, 90 minutes

If it sounds like a good fit for you, we’ll schedule our first therapy appointment—a 90 minute intake session. While I realize I can’t get to know all of your personal history and present concerns in a single appointment, we’ll take the time to get to know each other and focus on what’s most important for me to know about your background and hopes for therapy. This will help us set up a coherent plan for what to expect moving forward in our work together.
